Discuss about online courses verses face to face classes

Assignment:

After doing some research I've decided to change my topic idea to something I've always found quite interesting. I've decided to do my research paper on "What is the role on placebo treatment?". I've always been interested to see the actually affects, moods, and brain changes when a person thinks they are on actual medication.

After doing some more research and trying to narrow down the previous topics I had been thinking about, I decided that I wanted to focus my research on social media and it's affect on standards of beauty in teens. I was inspired by some of the other topics of my fellow classmates, but I also wanted to address the pressure that male teens go through as well due to social media, which at times can be easily forgotten. I think it will be interesting to see how social media can influence both the male and female teens into what the ideal standard of beauty is and also get an insights into what kinds pressure that the males may be facing that we may not even be aware of.

For my research, I would like to focus on high school teenage girls and boys, and the effects that social media has on their perception of what the ideal beauty is for them.

After thinking about my topic about online courses verses face to face classes, I would like to focus more on colleges conforming all degrees available online. We have many choices when it comes to degrees to complete online but there are still many that are not available. I want to focus on what makes certain degrees online and what degrees makes the student still have to attend classes. I also want to compare the type of work inside the classrooms verses online courses along with their differences.

I have decided that I want to stick with how social media affects body image and how the usage of social media has affect self-esteem. Many studies have observed that social media exacerbates the tendency for individuals to develop an unrealistic view of the world which is not really accurate. And though there are many outlets acknowledging healthier, productive lifetsyles, women often tend to gravitate toward the negativity.
