Discussion:
The results of my personality test show that I'm an "analytical thinker", driven by logical thoughts and creative thinking. I believe that these results are pretty accurate with my current job and hopefully will help in a future career. If I had the chose of all the different potential options for results of this test I probably wouldn't have chosen this one for myself, but its pretty hard for me to really describe myself. The part that I disagree with is that I have no interest in leading others since I'm already a supervisor and I love it. I don't believe that I'm the "bossy" type, but I think I'm better at teaching at guiding than just telling people what to do. I think an employer would find a personality test helpful in employment since many people can rehearse responses to an interview. When going through an interview many people put their best self in the forefront to get the job, but answering the questions to a personality test is harder to rehearse. An employer can put people with compatible personalities to train and work together for optimal results and greater success. As long as the employer takes into account the individual, job qualifications, and any previous training or education along with the personality test they will hire better employees.
"Analytical Thinker"
Logical, original, creative thinkers. Can become very excited about theories and ideas. Exceptionally capable and driven to turn theories into clear understandings. Highly value knowledge, competence and logic. Quiet and reserved, hard to get to know well. Individualistic, having no interest in leading or following others. Highly analytical, they can discover connections between two seemingly unrelated things and work best when allowed to use their imagination and critical thinking.
