Organizational Behavior Management Assignment
1. Discuss your scores and the influence tactics that you used most often (highest score) and least often (lowest scores). Do you believe that the influence tactics you use most often have been helpful or should you consider using different tactics to influence coworkers?
2. Discuss a time when you dealt directly with conflict in the workplace. What was the situation, and who were you in conflict with? How did you handle it? Looking back on the situation, what could you have done differently?
3. How do you define power in your own words? How does power differ from authority and influence? Referring to French and Raven's types of power (Reward, Coercive, Legitimate, Referent, Expert), provide a real life example of at least one type of power that you see in the workplace? Identify the type of power and discuss why this individual holds this type of power.
