In this assignment, you are expected to think critically. Below is a link to Edward Said's interview:

This piece is relevant to our discussion on research problems in comparative politics. You must write one page with a minimum of two paragraphs.
In the first paragraph (three to five sentences) summarize the main argument and discuss the evidence provided by Said. In the second paragraph (eight to ten sentences), you are to take a position.
In the case that you oppose the argument, you must 1) criticize Said's argument 2) lay out your counter argument and 3) provide supporting evidence for your case.
In the case that you agree with Said's argument you must 1) discuss a potential counter argument and 2) provide the potential evidence for the counter argument.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
