Supporting Media, "The Battle of Chile."

The documentary on "The Battle of Chile" is a chronicle of the political tension in Chile and the violent counter-revolution against the government of Salvador Allende in 1973, by Patricio Guzman. As a result, it is the best film to explain the politics of Chile as a country. It is separated into two main parts. The first section of the film," the Insurrection of Bourgeoisie," begins with the excitement of the 1970 election. The film starts with police asking the citizens to participate in the forthcoming voting which was to take part two years after the
Allende was elected to power (Landazuri, 2017). The election was meant to bring an end to the democratic poll. Allende's efforts to nationalize particular industries became difficult after facing antagonism from both the internal and the external opposition leading the country to the state of economic deprivation. The second part of the documentary is about the "coup d'état" which begins with the right wing of the winter of 1973 against the government. It ends with the death of Allende.
