Read the study, Trust in Schools: A Core Resource for School Reform by Anthony S. Bryk and Barbara Schneider (March 2003). Refer to the Trust in Schools: A Core Resource for School Reform link in this Readings and Resources. This is a longitudinal study of 400 Chicago elementary schools which focused on the central role of relational trust and integrity in building effective education communities.
- Post your reflection as to how you will begin to build trust with your staff in your first school leadership position. Give some reasons as to why you believe trust in the leader is crucial.
