In this assignment, your goal is to make a one-page student development principles checklist for the group of new academic advisors which you will be training. Your checklist will comprise of an itemized list of 12 to15 tenets or principles which underscore the student development philosophy in the PowerPoint presentation you made. Think of the checklist as a handout which you will share with the advisors to accompany the presentation. Make sure that your handout comprises a sufficient balance of principles from foundational student development theory to contemporary perspectives. These are the working principles which will serve as a foundation for new academic advisor understands of the university's student development philosophy.
