Three different techniques for assembling product were proposed by industrial engineer. To investigate the number of units assembled correctly with each technique, 30 employees were randomly chosen and randomly assigned to three proposed techniques in such a way that each techniques was employed by 10 workers. The number of units assembled correctly was recorded, and analysis of variance procedure was applied to resulting data set. The following results were obtained: SST = 10,870; SSTR = 4,580.
Using a=.05 to test for any significant difference in the means for three assembly methods.
