Problem:
I also am seeing a big difference in my researching and writing abilities as we continue forward with the nurse practitioner program. It's exciting because I never thought I was going to be able to do either well, but it just keeps getting better with time! Practice makes perfect is what they say, right? I also enjoyed the scenario given to us concerning legal and ethical issues in a clinic. It was a good practice scenario that we, as advanced practice nurses, will have to confront issues relatable to this scenario at times. This assignment really made us think about how we would handle certain situations like this, and it was interesting to read everyone's opinions on what should happen to the medical assistant. The scenario also made me feel the responsibility and accountability we face because we are handling the care of our patients and just how detrimental some of these types of mistakes can be and the seriousness of retaining our nurse practitioner license.
