Problem
What would your thesis be for the following questions...
A. J. L. Mackie (following David Hume) believes that there are reasons to think that miracles do not provide a sufficient case for theism. What are those reasons? Are they credible?
B. Of the four main arguments given for God's existence given in RRB's chapter 5 (the Ontological Argument, the Teleological Argument, the Moral Argument, and the Cosmological Argument [older or new versions]), which do you find the most plausible, if any? And if you find none sufficiently plausible, why?
C. According to RRB's chapter 1, what is the difference between reflective and unreflective engagement on the matter of religious questions? How does this question help to further distinguish between religious "believers" and "non-believers"? Is the distinction useful? Why or why not?
