Problem: The process measure of a CQI is that it is defined by measurements and data. "The purpose of data and measurement in CQI is learning, how to make system improvements and what the impact of each change that we have already made has had on the overall system" (Johnson & Sollecito, 2020). The outcome measures differ in the fact that they are there to measure what a potential outcome could be for a CQI tool or process. "Ultimately these steps result in decisions and actions to make changes and provide feedback on the need for further improvements" (Johnson & Sollecito, 2020). I personally believe that the process measurements are the most important because this is where you would collect data to see if the CQI tool or measurement is working out for your unit or organization. This is where you would be able to take a step back and look at aspects that could work or would not work in the process of change. An example of this would be assessing falls. Many organizations put fall precautions in place, however, there i still an up rise in falls within organizations. Look at the process of fall precautions and what could or could not work would be the most beneficial.

FYI, this is the question of this answer: Measurement is required to determine the success of your CQI project. What is the difference between outcome and process measures? Which are more important? Why? Support your reasoning with an example.
