Of those, 28 couples were divorced or had filed for divorce within the first year of marriage. 150 couples were randomly selected in California. Of those, 48 couples were divorced or had filed for divorce within the first year of marriage. Is there sufficient evidence to show a difference between divorce rates in Illinois and California during the first year of marriage? Test at a .10 level of significance.
