A 35-year-old female Aisha was in a motor vehicle accident and was admitted to the hospital emergency unit. Aisha was awake and alert, answering all questions appropriately and moving her extremities well. In addition to several orthopedic injuries, a concussion was diagnosed. Aisha was admitted to the hospital for observation and care of fractured ribs on her right side and right ulna.  

What is the difference between a concussion and a brain contusion?

Describe two questions the nurse might ask to assess Aisha for red flags/concerning symptoms after concussion.
