Assignment task: As you prepare to present your speech, remember that I am a bit flexible about this assignment but there are a few things that I do require:
You must submit a recording of your speech presentation. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, but make sure that you can be seen and your voice can be clearly heard. Speak loudly and legibly and review the recording after your presentation to make sure it is good enough quality to submit.
Your speech must be 3-5 minutes long and you must present it to an audience of three or more people.
You must submit two "peer evaluation sheets" from members of your audience. Download the attachment "PersuasiveSpeechReviews.doc" to help you complete this part of the assignment.
You must also submit a response of at least 300 words about your public speaking experience. Were you nervous? Did you enunciate clearly? Did you keep your audience's attention? What arguments were most effective? Which arguments were not as effective?
