Did officer have reasonable suspicion to stop vehicle

Assignment Problem: Review the following hypothetical and then answer the two questions that follow:

Hypothetical:  Adam Ingold was driving westbound on the interstate at 3:30 a.m  At 3:35 a.m. he called 911 to report a pickup was driving erratically and had nearly driven him off the road while passing him. He explained that he pulled over immediately after the incident to make the 911 call, and that it had just happened within the last couple minutes.  He was able to provide the color, model, license plate, direction of travel, and the interstate mile marker where the incident occurred.  He also noted the pickup had a big dent in the tailgate and a Minnesota Vikings bumper sticker.  However, Adam politely declined to provide his name or any other identifying information about himself to the 911 dispatcher.  The information Adam provided anonymously was relayed to highway troopers on duty.  A  trooper who was only a couple miles away from the location at the time observed a westbound pickup matching the description provided by Adam in virtually every respect.  The trooper conducted a stop on the vehicle and the driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

Question 1: Did the officer have reasonable suspicion to stop the vehicle even though the information he had was from an anonymous source?

Question 2: Why or why not?  Point to the specific facts (or absence of facts) you rely on.
