Problem:
Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Forgiveness.....sometimes that can be tough, can't it? When we forgive, it is important to understand that we are doing this more for ourselves than the other person. Just because we forgive someone that does not mean that we are saying what they did was ok, we are forgiving what they have done, just as God also forgives us, when we do not deserve it.
Holding on to unforgiveness and anger against another person is like lighting yourself on fire and hoping that the other person dies of smoke inhalation. Doesn't make sense, does it?
