Dialysis clinic in which patients receive treatment

Assignment Task:

The scenario setting is a dialysis clinic in which patients receive treatment three times weekly for at least three hours per treatment. The NP or doctor does a weekly visit with each patient reviewing weekly labs, medication adjustments, immunizations and assessments making order changes in the patient's treatment as needed. PZ a 67-year-old male arrives at the clinic for his dialysis treatment. PZ is new to dialysis starting his treatments 2 weeks ago. It is the NP's first time to do the weekly visit with PZ. The NP while reviewing PZ's chart notices there is no hepatitis vaccination on his chart. The NP proceeds to present him with education about the hepatitis vaccine which is a series of four individual injections for dialysis patients, explaining the pros and cons of receiving the vaccine. The NP asks PZ if he would like to receive the hepatitis vaccine. He states he does not have hepatitis because his primary care doctor tested him.
