3. Summarize the research you read on each of the following topics. You should know the general points of each of the papers, and you should be prepared to go into depth on two of them.
- Framing and footing in pediatric interviews
- Framing and footing in play sportscasting by grade-school age boys
- Framing and participant alignment in teasing
4. Take a topic of current and controversial interest, such as same-sex marriages, immigration, tuition, and health care. Identify at least two different ways that the issues have been framed. Evaluate the impact that these different ways of framing may have on the issue is presented and solutions offered.
