Assignment Task 1: Briefing Sheet: Digital Asset
Write based on business idea.
"Content leads to Trust leads to Contact leads to Collaboration leads to Opportunity."
Create a Digital Asset (such as an Industry Guide or a Position Paper or a Guided Conversation) that positions you as an expert in your industry niche. It could be a PDF of up to 2500 words or 20 pages or 20 minutes of video or 40 minutes of podcast.
The digital asset will contain information and insight of real value to a specific set of your target customers so that they will share it with their networks. The aim is to earn trust. What will earn you respect in your niche? Think small: target a group who ALL will want what you are offering. And will (hopefully) share it with their contacts.

How can your Digital Asset add value to this small, specific group of target customers?
You might: create original content (photographs, videos, audio); collate information from disparate sources; combine information from different disciplines; and/or re-formulate information into memorable forms or phrases.
Create something: "really valuable and... niched enough for people to be interested in; ... so valuable, ... so insightful, ... so targeted, ... so good that people will ... want to contact you to ask you more questions."
Assignment Task 2: Briefing Sheet: Portfolio of 2 Creative Applications
Drawing upon the ideas and exercises given in class, use the creative techniques to generate new, surprising and valuable possibilities to the questions facing your enterprise. The commentary will include the brief or challenge you set yourself and a reflective diary and description of the processes, outcomes and modifications followed.
Identify the next steps in the journey of your enterprise. What do you want to achieve? What questions do you have? What problems do you face? These could be in the area of: Product or Service (what you do for your customers); Delivery (how you do what you do); Engagement (how you talk about what you do); or Identity (the way you do what you do).
Creative exercises. 2 creative experiments to address the next steps of your enterprise. This should include a clear objective or question; a creative strategy to employ; and description of its execution and result.
Validation. Show how both of your creative experiments validate your enterprise by adding evidence to your Quick Pitch or One Page Plan.
