John Kenny has been a laboratory specialist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals since 2015, during which she obtained her MSc. in Chemical Analysis from Harvard School of Science. In 2018, she was assigned to work at one of Pfizer largest drug companies, Ms. John was selected for the position by the Board of Directors. The Chemical Analysis Department consists of 16 specialists under her direct supervision. Ms. John has acknowledged that she is facing a major management problem, so she has created two new jobs; as supervisors, and seven specialists under direct supervision of each one. Ms. John has developed specific procedures for the work, including identifying the analysis to be done per week for each specialist. Establishing attendance and departure procedures and regulations and developing incentive system based on monthly performance to distinguish between the activities of each working group. Ms. John is characterized by a flame of activity. She has conducted many interviews with laboratory specialists in order to identify problems and involve them in decision-making. As a result of these interviews, several reports were requested containing detailed information on the nature of activities in her department. She studied this information and analyzed it, and she concluded several weeks later
