Now that you have developed your SEM strategy and SEM campaign you are ready for the next phase - execution and integration of keyword research.
The executive teams have reviewed your SEM campaign and have given you the green light to go ahead and begin conducting your keyword research. You are tasked with the following:
- Keyword research identification via online tools.
- Competitor keyword research and benchmarking
- Develop a report explaining your thinking, process, and tools used
Assignment Steps
1. Conduct a keyword research report. Identify which keywords are to be used for PDM's SEM campaign ads. Explain why and which keyword modifiers you would use.
2. Identify which keywords PDM's competitors are using, how they are ranking, and how PDM would rank in comparison.
3. Prepare a report to outline steps 1 and 2. Feel free to include visuals and screenshots from the tools you used.
