Assignment task:
State and develop your position on the relationship between capitalism and freedom. Your position must be contextualized within the assigned texts, drawing on at least 2 authors.
Below are some "big" questions to help you formulate your response. You should not attempt to answer all of these questions in your essay, rather they are here to help you generate ideas:

- How should we understand liberty or freedom? How do you define these terms?

The purpose of this assignment is for you to, primarily, synthesize information. That is, to put different authors and ideas in conversation with one another. In order to achieve this, you will need to analyze or draw out the implications of each writer, so that you can process how they relate to one another. And, through this process, you should begin formulating your own thoughts on the matter, on how we should understand the relationship between capitalism and freedom.
