Develop practical skills in human resource


The integrated project enables students to develop practical skills in Human Resource/Industrial Management functions as a line manager working in an engineering context. The project requires students working together to exchange ideas, experience and finally prepare an individual business report addressed to the Human Resource/Industrial Relations Manager of their organization outlining the Disciplinary Policies and Disciplinary Procedures of their organization. Each student will submit an individual report.

• Identify a disciplinary model and conduct disciplinary policies and disciplinary Procedures analyses in an organization (e.g. DEWA, Dubai Ports, Emirates Airlines, etc.). You can select any organization as long as it’s based in the UAE.

• Map and discuss the current disciplinary policies and disciplinary procedures of the organization. (Hint: use a flow chart to depict the current disciplinary Policies and disciplinary procedures). You can select any organization as long as it’s based in the UAE.

• Identify areas of improvement and recommend an improved disciplinary policies And disciplinary procedures (Hint: use another flow chart to depict the improved Disciplinary policies and disciplinary procedures)

• Justify the improved disciplinary policies and disciplinary procedures.

• Summarize the recommendations in an executive summary of the report
