Problem
Develop a Curriculum Web and Learning Goals for a specific unit topic.
First, review pages 212, 213, and 215 in our text, Beginning Essentials in Early Childhood Education. Curriculum Webs, also known as Webbing, are a planning tool that creates a map of possible activities and projects in the classroom interest areas.
After reviewing curriculum webs, pick a topic.
1) Once your topic is set, use this curriculum web to help plan the 11 Creative Curriculum Interest Areas (10 indoor interest areas and 1 outdoor interest area).
2) Have fun with this problem and be creative.
3) After your Curriculum Web is complete develop 2-3 Learning Goals for the unit not for each interest area.
