i. In your opinion, under what conditions should the sponsor approve a project change, and when is it okay for the project manager to authorize a change? Give an example of each.
ii. Give specific examples of risks on a project that are within the team's control, partially within the team's control, and outside the team's control. Tell how you would deal with each.

Chapter 14: Determining Project Progress and Results.
This chapter covers multiple ways in which project managers seek to ensure the project results they planned to make and promised to deliver. After completing this chapter, each student should be able to perform the following:
Core Objectives:
i. Develop and demonstrate use of a change control system.
ii. Demonstrate how to monitor and control project risks with various resolution strategies.
iii. Create and present a project progress report.
Behavioral Objectives:
i. Describe the importance of formal reporting and communications.
ii. Demonstrate negotiating skills.
iii. Manage conflicts during the project execution.
Technical Objectives:
i. Describe project quality control tools, including how and when to use each.
ii. Calculate current project schedule and budget progress, and predict future progress, using earned value analysis.
iii. Document project progress using MS Project.
