Assignment task: Read the extract below and answer the questions that follow.
As the owner of a small catering company called Delishly Devine, you have noticed that morale is low among your waiters and this is negatively impacting on the customer experience of people using your services. You therefore embark on an investigation to determine the level of Employee satisfaction within the Company and attempt to establish why morale is low. Given that there are only 15 employees in your employ, you decide to embark on an intense Qualitative data collection method, to hopefully implement an action plan.
1. Develop a suitable aim for the research study above.
2. You need to review the information available, to determine the factors that could be contributing towards the low morale. You thus decide to conduct a literature review. Elaborate on the type of sources of literature you will refer to.
3. Suggest the most suitable Research Strategy to be used. Justify your answer.
4. Deliberate between the different types of interviews available.
5. Identify which Type of interview would be applicable to your study and substantiate why it is appropriate.
6. Provide a detailed explanation on the Data collection Process you will employ to gather data from your target population.
7. Create five (5) open-ended questions you would include in your instrument to gather the correct data to answer your research problem.
