Annette has a 5-year plan where she is due to retire from work. She has had a number of jobs in the disability sector early in her career, but due to her age, she had planned on seeing out her working years at this organization. Annette does not have enough superannuation to retire just yet, and she is not at an age to be eligible for the pension. Annette sees herself as unemployable in the sector because she has some health issues that have been well managed in the current workplace. Annette is concerned that on one hand, financially, she won't survive without another job, but on the other hand she thinks she is unemployable due to her age. She is taking on a lot of shift work to get the penalty rates to make some more money.
