Homework: An Informatics Project
Building off your knowledge obtained from the annotated bibliography homework, you will disseminate the knowledge in the form of an informatics project. (Please be sure to use your annotated bibliography for this homework).
In this homework you will:
I. Develop an informatics deliverable.
II. In your deliverable, you will develop a product using technology that disseminates the information you obtained and/or learned from your annotated bibliography.
III. You will need to identify and decide who your target audience is. Who are you going to teach?
i. Patient
ii. Community
iii. Nurses
iv. Other professionals
IV. You will develop your project.
V. You can choose how you want to display your project. Your options include:
i. YouTube video
ii. 5-slide PowerPoint presentation
iii. Flyer and/or poster
iv. Brochure
v. You may also use Web 2.0 tools or free multimedia presentation tools like Prezi, WordPress.com, Glogster, Animoto, Blabberize, Slideshare, Audioboo, Wordle, Wikis, Voki, Dolnk, and Kerpoof.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
