- Keep the scope focused so it does not get out of control
Calculate the following:
- Cycle time
- Process capacity
- Utilization
Turn in a process map and a 2 page (max) analysis of the process
Issues to address:
- Efficiency and effectiveness of process (some of this may be qualitative)
- Improvement opportunities (hint: bottlenecks are a good place to start)
- Improvement recommendations
?Additional labor and/or equipment
?Change process structure (e.g. parallel steps)
- Any other issues you see as important (quality, safety, etc.)
