Problem: The Millenium Development Goals (MDG's) were devised by the United Nations (UN) and World Health Organization (WHO) to reduce global poverty between 2000 and 2015. Many of the goals were achieved. The number of people living in extreme poverty dropped substantially. Significant progress was made toward alleviating global hunger, preventing maternal and child mortality, and controlling AIDS/HIV and malaria.
For this Discussion Question, research one of these MDG's of your choosing. Report back to the class the extent to which the MDG was addressed. Include hyperlink(s) for any resource(s) you utilized.
