Assignment task:
Each student is required to develop a comprehensive community resource file from their respective community (city, county, region, state, etc.). Your grade will be based on variety, organization & effort. This file is to include work/resources obtained by the student outside of this course and not just handouts received in class. This assignment is designed to aid you in seeking out community resources to utilize for linkage and referrals with clients.
You will utilize web searches, library searches, visits to community resources in your area, etc. to obtain GOOD and complete information about available services and resources in your area. Make use of the sample documents provided below. You may use either of these samples as a template for organizing your own information.
Required sections for your resource file can be found below. Each section listed below must have a minimum of 10 resources listed to receive full credit. Please alphabetize your listed resources.
