Headache is a common symptom in the hospitalized patient and may be benign or a sign of something severe going on in your patient.
Chapter 89 in our Principles of Hospital Medicine text assigned readings gives a good overview of headache assessment and treatment. After completing assigned readings, develop a case study for your classmates with a patient presenting with a type of headache described in your readings. Follow up with the type of headache you were describing.
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
