Problem: Eugenicists used Blumenbach's racial categories to determine who they believed was biologically superior. They subdivided Caucasian into a ranked order with the Nordic at the top and working down through the Alpine sub race to the Mediterranean sub race and then putting Jews/Semitic at the bottom of their hierarchy.
