Problem
In early America the media was expected to provide the population with the news in an unbiased, honest manner. Today we see different views on the same topics from different media companies. In addition, the media attempts to influence the public opinion, or deflect public attention, concerning issues that many Americans see as important.
How do we navigate the world of media today and determine what is honest, unbiased, and factual so that we can make informed decisions about issues that are important, current, and relevant to us?
