Assignment:
True story, you can't make this stuff up.
One day I came back to my desk and saw the light on my phone indicating I had a message. The message was from XXXXX XXXXXXX Clinic. The message was for XXXX (a co-worker), not me. The voice on the message said to contact the clinic about their upcoming procedure.
Since I knew XXXX, I called them and told them they needed to talk to the clinic.
If you call my work number and I am away from my desk, you will hear "You have reached TIM TIBBITS. I cannot take your call right now. Leave a message and I will return your call as soon as I can."
Questions:
1. Was this call in violation of anything, or am I making a big deal about nothing?
2. What if I was XXXX's supervisor, knew nothing about the upcoming procedure, and determined that the procedure could impact XXXX's job performance?
