The blocks at the top and bottom of the openings are to be the lintel block shown in Figure 6-3, with the blocks at the bottom placed upside down to provide a smooth surface. Bullnose blocks are to be provided at the sides of the opening. A 2 × 8 wood frame will be provided to support the bond beam until the grout has cured.
