An object of mass 1.2 kg is released from rest at the top of a 5 metre plank inclined at 40 degrees to the horizontal. Determine the normal reaction of the plane on the object and calculate the time taken for the object to reach the bottom of the plank and also its velocity at that time, (assume that there are no frictional forces acting).
