Can some please help me answer the following questions:
1. How would you determine the most appropriate type of assessment for a lesson centered upon either a contemporary topic within your content area OR a lesson which introduces new material to students?
2. Find the definitions for formative and summative assessments. (Cite where you found this information). Then, give an example of how you would use each in your classroom.
3. Create an essay question for a specific lesson in your content area. How would you expect the students to answer it? What parameters would you grade?
4. Please look at the test which follows. Do you think it meets all the requirements necessary for an effective assessment? Why or why not?
