In an effort to eliminate out-of-balance effects on a rotating disk an in-field single plane procedure was completed. With the system being tested at a constant angular velocity of 300 revolutions per minute it was experimentally found that a peak acceleration of 1.7g's at an angle of 71.9 degrees (relative to a reference position) occurred for the system alone. An additional mass of 58 grams was added at a radial position of 98 mm. The system was tested again at a constant angular velocity of 300 revolutions per minute and it was found that a maximum acceleration of 3.75g's at an angle of 123 degrees (from the same reference position) was observed.
Determine:The magnitude of the out-of balance force at a constant angular velocity of 900 revolutions per minute.
