Determine the lateral velocity from the inlet

Water enters a 20ft long cylindrical pipe at a mass flow rate of 20 slugs/sec. The inside pipe diameter is 8cm. The other end of the pipe is closed. The side wall of the pipe is porous such that water escapes radially through the side walls. If one assumes the lateral velocity varies linearly with x, measure from the inlet, determine the lateral velocity at 10ft from the inlet.
