Assignment task:
Assume Individual A receives a 1600 on their SATs before entering college. Without knowing this individual, what personal, family, and social characteristics would you assume that this individual has or has experienced over his or her lifetime?
Now assume Individual B becomes a serial killer. Again, without knowing this person, what personal, family, and social characteristics would you expect this individual would have or would have experienced over his or her lifetime?
If "bad behavior" is explained by experiencing multiple negative or traumatic issues, is "good behavior" explained by experiencing multiple strengths?
To what extent would you say that these experiences, positive or negative, determine the individual's subsequent behavior?
