Concept is based on 76-year-old female who was diagnosis with carcinoid syndrome, type 2 diabetes with diabetic autonomic (poly)neuropathy, urinary tract infection, hypothyroidism, gastroparesis, major depressive disorder, hyperlipidemia, gastroesophageal reflux disease with esophagitis, dysphagia. J.C. has a feeding tube and has all her food, and most meds are placed through PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy).
