The Chairman of the Board of Directors has asked you, as the CEO of the company, to draft a set of guidelines that will be used to develop a corporate Code of Ethics. Prepare a 5-7 slide power point presentation for the Board outlining your recommendations. Your proposal must specifically address:
1. The purpose of the proposal.
2. A brief description of the nature of the company's enterprise (does it provide a service or a product?)
3. What you believe constitutes an appropriate standard of ethics for the company, Utilitarian or Kantian, given the nature of your business. Explain the key principles of the theory you recommend and justify why it is the best standard upon which to base the corporate Code of Ethics.
4. The specific benefits to be realized by the company and its stakeholders.
5. Cite two examples of a contemporary business dilemma the company has or might encounter to support the ethical theory you advocate.
6. Detail how the Code will be communicated to employees.
7. Explain how the Code will be enforced.
