2. Learning Outcomes covered :
1 : Use MATLAB and SIMULINK to model and analyse electronic circuits and amplifiers.
2 : Employ GUI in developing MATLAB programs for engineering applications.
3. Background Information :
A graphical user interface (GUI) is a human-computer interface that uses menus, dialogue box, and button which can be manipulated by a mouse (and often to a limited extent by a keyboard as well). The use of GUI for a system's model software makes the user can easily interact with the software in setting parameter of the model and selecting mode of operation of the system and choose the required outputs. GUIDE, the MATLAB Graphical User Interface development environment, provides a set of tools for creating GUIs. These tools greatly simplify the process of laying out and programming a GUI.
4. Tasks :
1. Create a MATLAB GUI for designing Common Emitter amplifier which produces :
i. Display of circuit diagram.
ii. Dialogue box to get value of amplifier component's interactively.
iii. AC load lines based on the component value.
iv. Amplifier's input and output parameter.
v. Amplifier's Frequency response.
2. Produce report which consist of
i. Theoretical background.
ii. GUI layout design.
iii. GUI Demonstration.
