The predicted traffic is 4000 light vehicles and 400 heavy vehicles per lane per day. Aggregate properties are; 20.0 mm stone: ALD = 9.2 mm, flakiness is 10%; 10.0 mm stone: ALD = 4.2 mm, flakiness is 20%. Aggregate spread rate = medium dense matrix. Penetration values (corrected) averaged 1.5 mm. The steepest gradients are 5%, the existing texture depth is 0.45 mm required texture depth is 0.5 mm. The Binder specification is as follows: Tack Coat is Polymer-modified bitumen S-E1, and Penetration Coat is Polymer-modified bitumen S-E2. Distribution of binder tack coat: penetration coat is 50:50
