Assignment:
Students will be assigned a therapeutic procedure discussed in this course. Each student will create a power point presentation with required information listed below.
Each student will have 10 min to present their findings.
Each student will choose an article that supports the application of the assigned therapeutic procedure. Article MUST be a research article from a peer-reviewed journal.
The Article MUST be approved by the instructor no later than a week prior presenting or it will be consider LATE.
Each student MUST upload a copy of the full article and upload the power point presentation in google classroom prior presenting or it will be consider LATE.
The power point presentation MUST include:
1. Brief description of the therapeutic procedure including effects and indications (1 to 2 slides)
2. Summary of research article including: background/introduction, description of subjects (age, sex, demographics, diagnosis), method, results, and conclusion
3. Medical justification or clinical rationale for applying the therapeutic procedure as indicated in the study.
4. When is this therapeutic procedure indicated in clinical practice? (Other common conditions, patient clinical manifestations that would indicate the use, type of settings, etc).
