Leadership development is a continual, systemic process that helps individuals, groups, and organisations attain common goals and objectives.
This description captures leadership development's process-oriented, continuing nature. This definition of leadership growth fits well with Day, Harrison, and Halpin's (2009) assessment of individual development. Day et al. say leadership growth is embedded in cognitive, moral, and identity development of the leader.
Do business organisations today have leadership development programs which focus on all three of these domains? Please give clear examples of which ones and how they implement the above. Please include references with links for access.
