Homework: Principles of Sociology
Try hearing part of a conversation or watching people interact. What can we learn from observing? Next, research the definition of sociology using the textbook and videos in the module. Note how the videos show that we are all made by our societies to a large degree.
Pay attention to the plagiarism policy: any student who copies and pastes without proper quotation and citation will receive a zero for the homework.
This must be a minimum of 200 words and include at least one quotation from the textbook and one from each video in the module, each with a paraphrase showing you understand the quote:
a. Describe your "people watching" experience. What can we learn from observation?
b. Define sociology. Explain why people are are created by their society to a large extent.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
