Describe your favorite scene from chaplins modern times why

Describe your favorite scene from Chaplin's MODERN TIMES. Why is it your favorite? Are silent films not as good as a scene with dialogue and modern sound, or simply DIFFERENT? (Answer in about a paragraph.)

2. Give some comment for this paragraph (one paragraph)

My favorite scene was the factory scene where Chaplin has to work on the assembly line tightening some bolts that go by on the conveyor belt. I thought that this scene was great because of the way that the fly was flying around but Chaplin could do nothing about it because of his work. I also thought it was funny how he kept twitching or moving his arms in the motion of his work when he was taking off the assembly line. I could relate to this because working in retail has left me with work habits that I end up taking home.

I do think that silent films are different without dialogue or modern sound, but they can still be entertaining. This film shows a lot of humor through the actions that Chaplain has and of the everyday interactions that he has with his bosses and co-workers. I personally found this film entertaining because of the actions and the sound was not necessary important for the scenes that were being formed and put on for this film. It was overall an enjoyable film, but I can see why this film would throw off people that have never experienced a silent film or are accustomed to the more modern style.

Example of the comment:

I thought that was a good scene as it shows the comedic movements of how trying to fix things can go from bad to worse. I agree though that the lack of dialogue does not do much to change my opinion of the films. I think the films are enjoyable either way; with or without any sound.
