From the readings this week, consider what type of psychological testing and/or interview would be most appropriate in assessing a client who suffers from trauma at different stages relative to their traumatic exposure. What type of interview or testing and what procedures would be appropriate to use at different stages of trauma counselling while maintaining the therapeutic alliance? Describe which assessments would be useful for a particular client, and explain why.
